Conflict management, mediation

One of the main ranges of our actions is the management of specific conflicts:
– within organization and
– emerging conflicts between institutions, organizations

Our co-workers help the management of the conflict as independent professionals and as mediators. During the process, the members of the conflict establish common, long term sustainable solution(s).

Mediation

Dispute between parties can be interpreted as a conflict. Within the appropriate framework, these conflicts can facilitate of problem-solving.

However, conflicts can reach a stage where the parties within the dispute are no longer willing or able to reach an agreement through direct negotiation. In this case, an external person (mediator) may be involved.

The role of the mediator is to help those involved sort out their issues and arrive at a consensus.  That might involve helping parties to finalise an agreement, resolve a dispute, develop effective communications, build or improve relationships, or all these things. Mediators are impartial.

During mediation, the impartial mediator assists the parties to the dispute in:

The mediator has an equal and balanced responsibility to assist each mediating party and cannot favour the interests of any one party over another.

During the mediation process, the mediator does not make a decision on behalf of the participants, but helps to put them in a position where the parties themselves can reach agreements.

The involvement of a mediator can only take place on the initiative and with the consent of the parties to the dispute.

Team building

During the operation of an organization, there is a great emphasis on team work, the involvement of employees, the consideration of their human needs and characteristics, and the effective cooperation of employees.

The obvious reason for this is that by considering the motivations and abilities of each person, by selecting the appropriate, individualized tasks, the performance of the organization can be significantly improved.

Team building is the process of turning a group of individual contributing employees into a cohesive team. A team is a group of people organized to work together interdependently and cooperatively to meet the needs of their customers by accomplishing their purpose and goals.

Becoming a group team requires a serious investment from both the individuals involved and the team as a whole.

Organization development

Within the framework of the organization development actions we help to traverse the tasks and competency questions belonging to certain scope of activities and positions, as well as the connection system, information transfer and cooperation web between them. This provides an opportunity to strain the scope of duties, formalize them, fill them with efficient content, and to develop new ‘inner cooperation contracts’ and to bring into existence the necessary organizational changes.
